Different conditions will apply to your Flight Credit depending on when your original booking was made and why the Flight Credit was issued. The table below provides information on the different types of Flight Credits and their conditions. You should always refer to the terms and conditions applicable to your Flight Credit .
Find your credit
If you're not sure what type of credit you have, contact your local Qantas office for help finding any flight credits you may hold with Qantas or Jetstar. We'll need details about the original flight booking to complete a search. Find out about other travel credits.
About travel credits
Flight Credits requested by you
When you cancel a booking, either online through Manage booking or by contacting your local Qantas office, you may be offered a Qantas Flight Credit.
Are there any fees?
There are no fees associated with obtaining your Flight Credit. However, any fees that applied to your original booking will apply at time of redeeming your Flight Credit, unless they have been waived. For example, if you purchased a Red e-Deal or sale fare, the change fee will be charged when you first redeem your Flight Credit. Make sure you check the fare rules of your original booking to find out what fees will apply when you redeem your Flight Credit. If you're unable to use your Flight Credit online and you redeem your Flight Credit through your local Qantas Office, the change booking fee usually charged for assisted bookings will be waived.
