I don’t know why you needed AI for this journey, it was terrible advice. The best course of action going from here would be to start from a fresh profile. You never need to reinstall the application, it is being replaced on update anyhow. Close the browser, make a backup of your current default profile and delete the profile folder. Then start Vivaldi and log in to Sync. There are certain things which aren’t covered by sync, like keyboard shortcuts, command chains, workspaces, themes, and feeds. You might want to create backups of these independently. Feeds and themes have a native backup/import solution, keyboard shortcuts need to be entered anew, but you can create a copy of your current cheat sheet → https://forum.vivaldi.net/post/745999.
