My initial plan was to only stay for 2 weeks, but after detoxing I realized I needed to work on my inner demons, and the entire staff helped me along the way. They really care about you and want you to succeed, and I ended up... extending my program to 45 days, that’s how much fun I had over there! I just recently made 6 months sober and never in my entire addiction did I think I could get this far. This place truly changed my life for the better and everyone around me can see it... I walked in as this shy, insecure girl and I walked out as the confident, optimistic woman I was always meant to be. I literally couldn’t have done it without this place. During my time at Townsend I was treated with care and respect. People come in for all kinds of problems whether it be with alcohol, drugs, family etc… and all of our needs are met and we are given the proper tools and respect that we need to overcome whatever we are going to. It truly means a lot when you have people who want you to succeed even when sometimes you don’t want to yourself. I highly recommend this place if you are serious about your sobriety or if you need a reset. They will do whatever it takes to put you on the right path.
