About HDFC Mutual Fund
HDFC Mutual Fund is one of the largest fund houses in India. It is managed by HDFC Asset Management Company Limited and was set up in 1999 as a joint venture between HDFC Limited and Aberdeen Investment Management Limited. The fund house has grown to become one of India’s largest mutual fund houses, with assets under management (AUM) of ₹9,52,867 crore as of March 31, 2026. It became a publicly listed company in August 2018.
HDFC AMC offers approximately 99 primary schemes.
Out of these schemes, 25 are debt funds, 59 are equity-oriented, 11 are hybrid schemes, and 4 others (ETFs, Gold, FoFs, etc.).
